It was a nighttime of Center Eastern-styled lays and Israeli hip hop Wednesday at Station 9. Twelves of immature professionals, still largely worn in their work dresses, came downwardly to U Street to hear a concert by Electro Morocco and so dance to the modes of DJ Balagan, as patronize by J-on-Demand and Shemspeed.

It was one of the shutting enactments of the one-year Washington Jewish Music Festival, which holds been running 10 years since Tuesday, June 2, featuring such enactments as Ivri Lider , popular Israeli vocalizer, and Miri Ben-Ari, a hip-hop fiddler.

I wind up attending with some folks from YP@AI ; it was a nice manner to immingle interests and web with compeers. I relished clavering it upwardly, though in usual modern concert fashion, it was difficult to hear myself consider! :P I especially cared Electro Marruecos 's sultry, danceable vocals, though I wish I could 've heard more of the vocals. But we partied tardily into the dark, or at least late by my measures, seeing as I shoulded Tube back to place to Ag Springtime and get upwardly early for work the following day. :P

On an unrelated note, my ideas and supplications are with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and slain watcher, Stephen Thymine Johns ' household in the aftermath of yesterday's attack on the building. JCRC is maintaining a community vigil at the site this afternoon at 2; check it out.
